Albert Ellis was one of the most influential psychotherapists of all time, revolutionizing the field through his writings, teachings, research, and supervision for more than half a century. He was a pioneer whose ideas, known as Rational Emotive Behavior (REMT), formed the basis for what has now become known as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), the most widely accepted psychotherapeutic approach in the world.
In Albert Ellis Revisited, the editors have brought together leading experts in the field to introduce and comment on up to twenty classic, seminal papers which have significantly impacted the therapy field. The papers capture the wit, humor, and the breadth of knowledge of one of the world's greatest thinkers and practitioners. The selected articles cover topical areas such as human sexuality, personality disorders, and religion.
