About the Editor(s)
Margaret O'Brien, PhD 1984 (LSE) co-directs the Centre for Research on the Child and Family at the University of East Anglia, UK. Margaret is a clinical psychologist with a longstanding research interest in fathers and family life. Since her first book on fathers in 1982 The Father Figure, she has published widely and led national and international research projects on fathers, including: Fathers and the Workplace; Fathers Sure Start, and Muslim Families in Europe. Margaret currently serves on the editorial board of Journal of Fathering and has contributed to the United Nations 2011 Report on Men in Families: Family Policy in a Changing World.
