About the Author(s)
Jerry M. Lewis, M.D., is both the former Chairman of the Board of Timberlawn Psychiatric Research Foundation and Psychiatrist-in-Chief at Timberlawn Psychiatric Hospital. He is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, and the past president of the American College of Psychiatrists and The Group for the Advancement of Psychiatry. Doctor Lewis has written over 100 scientific papers and fifteen books. He practices individual and marital-family therapies in Dallas.
