About the Author(s)
Dr Herbert Rosenfeld (1909-1986) was born in Germany and came to Britain as a refugee in 1935. An analysand of Melanie Klein, his particular interest in the schizophrenias established him as one of the foremost authorities on the elucidation of psychotic states from a Kleinian perspective.
