This sequal to the celebrated novel 'The Old Man and the Wolves' returns to the corrupt, colourful seaside resort of Santa Varvara, where the boundaries between east and west, civilization and barbarism, good and evil are erased. Kristeva uses this to convey some new and disturbing thoughts on the themes of language and philosophy. 256 pages.
