Radical Pedagogy: Identity, Generativity, and Social Transformation

Drawing on recent research in psychoanalysis, social psychology, and cognitive science, "Radical Pedagogy" articulates a new theory of identity that explains how developing students' identities is a prerequisite for the development of intelligence and the capacity and motivation to learn, the achievement of personal well being, and the amelioration of our major social problems, including violence, prejudice, and substance abuse.
