She co-owns Aspire Pediatric Therapy, a company that provides in-home services and consultations to school districts and is the founder of Route2Greatness, which creates, produces, and distributes CDs for children with auditory sensitivity, and designs and distributes awareness products. Cara is also a homeschooling mother to two children with autism spectrum and sensory processing disorders. She lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
