Jan Campbell is a Reader in Literature and Psychoanalysis from the University of Birmingham. She works in English and is an ex-member of the Cultural Studies department at the University of Birmingham. Jan is also an analytical psychotherapist in private practice and has recently been Chair of Psychotherapy at Sussex in Brighton. She has published widely on psychoanalysis in relation to cultural theory, feminism, autobiography, film and clinical practice.
