Jessica L. Davis is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the American University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. She teaches modern philosophy, ethics and the environment, and ethics and information technology. She earned her PhD in Critical Theory from King’s College London, UK. Her research lies at the intersection of ethics, social, and political philosophy which she approaches through post-structuralism, Lacanian psychoanalysis, and critical theory.
