Bibliography of Primary and Secondary Sources of the Life, Work and Ideas of Wilfred Ruprecht Bion
The bibliography comprises the 24 volumes of Bions works and are referred to as WB1-WB24. This is followed by a chronological list of his papers, articles and reviews showing date and source of original appearance and bearing a "WB-" number where it is part of the contents of one of the volumes. After the chronological list, there is an alphabetical list treated in the same way. In both cases, the item not showing a "WB-" number do not appear in those volumes.
The list of secondary sources is collated in alphabetical order of author and followed by a breakdown into three sub-groups, Articles, Books and parts of books, and book reviews. Finally, a list of journal abbreviations used is appended.
The compiler would like to stress that this reading list is by no means comprehensive and that the entries have been selected solely on the basis that they deal wholly or in part with Bion and his work. Karnac Books will amend this list periodically as necessary.
