Hearing Silencing
The Hearing Silencing Series is an invitation to closely observe the practices and processes of silencing used by perpetrators of abuse and totalitarian institutions alike. The series editors, Michael B. Buchholz and Aleksandar Dimitrijević, believe that it is the silencing that follows trauma which leads to mental pain and disorders. Thus, these volumes explore some of the darkest aspects of human communication in order to break that silencing. This focus on hearing silencing fulfils the intersubjective capacity and promise of psychoanalysis.
